Senior DevOps Engineer
Americor is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The Senior DevOps Engineers at Americor are tasked with developing and maintaining a scalable platform to meet the evolving needs of our customers. They tackle complex, low-level challenges to ensure our product teams can deploy new features safely, securely, and efficiently.
Compensation: $150,000-$175,000 annually, depending on experience.
Work Location: Remote.

Responsibilities:
- Support the underlying infrastructure that enables our internal CRM. You’ll build and manage our AWS environment using Terraform, assist in scaling through Kubernetes container orchestration, set up and configure monitoring tools, and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Join a committed team of experienced engineers: Work alongside a small, dedicated team of senior engineers who consistently strive to do their best. We’re fully remote and focus on delivering solid, reliable work as we collaborate to design and develop our systems.
- Navigate the challenges of working in a high-security, high-stakes environment: We work with some of the most sensitive data you can imagine and provide a critical service to our business function. Security, reliability, and correctness must always come first.
- Contribute to our architectural and hosting strategies: Everyone has a voice in our technical discussions, and your ideas and decisions can significantly impact our overarching strategies.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with cloud-hosted web applications, preferably with startup experience.
- Preferred but not required, experience in the financial sector, particularly in compliance areas.
- Thrive on unraveling complex problems, identifying root causes, and devising optimal solutions.
- Be a Self-starter capable of understanding requirements, asking insightful questions, and delivering impactful results.
- Adept at troubleshooting, examining logs, and using diagnostic tools to understand issues thoroughly.
- Versatile with technology, comfortable working with everything from low-level networking and file systems to database configuration and high-level architecture.
- Motivated by the challenges and learning opportunities that come with rapid growth, you enjoy refining processes through continuous iteration.

- Prioritize safety and are committed to quality, thorough testing, and robust security.
